The two main characters Eli and Victor are fantastic to read as they’re what I would call ‘anti-heroes’. In their research they discover what gives these people their powers which leads them to partake in some pretty dangerous experiments that gave it a Frankenstein feel. Eli and Victor are bright and likeminded students who both become intrigued by this subject.
